(107 and 145 cm) and • Top of child’s ears must be below top of vehicle seat back or vehicle headrest and • Child must be at least 4 years of age. 7.0 Toddler Car Seat (With Built-in Harness) Installation and Use: Locked: For vehicles with switchable retractors, pull the shoulder belt all the way out to switch the retractor into the locking retractor mode and release the shoulder belt allowing it to retract. Installation - Lap Belt Only WITHOUT Top Tether WARNING! • The vehicle seat belt system must stay tightly adjusted to the car seat at all times. If not, read the vehicle owner's manual and "Vehicle Seat Belts" section in this manual. To secure the car seat in the vehicle: 1. Assemble the Back Support (see "Assembly and Removal of Back Support" section). 2. Check for a secure installation by grasping the car seat armrest and pushing side-to-side and front-to-back. The car seat should not move more than 1 inch in either direction. • If the car seat moves more than 1 inch, retighten the LATCH belt and test again. WARNING! DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur: • Failure to properly adjust the harness on your child increases the risk of death or serious injury in the event of a sudden stop or crash. Follow the instructions very closely to ensure that the harness is properly adjusted to fit your child at all times. Your child will grow rapidly! DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur: • If the child will not keep the vehicle shoulder belt properly positioned on their shoulder, DO NOT use this Booster Car Seat. Use a different child restraint system. Do not allow the child to slide down in the High-back Booster Car Seat which could position the vehicle lap belt across the child's abdomen and shoulder belt over their neck or face. If the vehicle seat back is adjustable, adjust into the upright position or the position specified in the vehicle owner's manual Inner for use with a car seat. 6. Thread the shoulder belt into the inner slot of the Booster Shoulder Belt Guide located on the Retainer underside of the Head Support. Tab - Slide the shoulder belt into the open end of the slot, around the Belt Retainer Tab and into Inner Slot of the Head Support.
