3. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

AskManual provides information derived from product manuals using artificial intelligence. This information is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

  • AI-generated answers may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies
  • Answers should be verified against the original product manual before relying on them
  • AskManual does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or currentness of any information
  • Manual content may be outdated if the manufacturer has released updated versions

3.2 Not a Substitute for Professional Advice

AskManual is not a substitute for reading the complete product manual, contacting the product manufacturer's official support, consulting a qualified professional (electrician, plumber, technician, etc.), or following local building codes, regulations, or safety standards.

Manufacturers who wish to have their product manuals removed from AskManual may contact us at legal@askmanual.ai. We will process removal requests within 30 days.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems, scrape or extract data in a manner that exceeds reasonable use or violates rate limits, or interfere with or disrupt the service.

6. AI Chat Usage

Questions submitted through the AI chat may be used to improve the quality of answers, aggregated anonymously to identify common questions, and used to generate new Q&A content pages without personally identifiable information. Do not submit personally identifiable information or sensitive data through the chat interface.

7. API Terms

The AskManual API is provided for programmatic access to product data. Users of the API agree to respect rate limits, provide attribution when displaying AskManual data, and not resell raw API data without a commercial license.

The structured data provided through the API (including Q&A pairs, product metadata, and manual summaries) is the intellectual property of AskManual. The underlying manual content remains the property of the respective manufacturers.

8. Advertising

AskManual displays third-party advertisements. We are not responsible for the content of advertisements or the products/services advertised. Ad placement does not constitute endorsement.
