What should I do if the power cord is damaged?
Immediately disconnect the appliance from the power supply if the power cord is damaged. The power cord must then be replaced before using the appliance again. Only use original parts supplied by the manufacturer, as these are guaranteed to satisfy safety requirements. (Page 3)
