How much detergent should I use in this dishwasher?

With soft water, 1 tablespoon (15ml) of detergent will clean most loads. For hard water and cycles like Auto Plus or Regular Wash, up to 45ml (3 tablespoons) may be needed — the detergent dispenser cup has measuring lines at 15ml and 25ml, with a maximum fill of 45ml. Using too much detergent with soft water may cause etching on glassware. (Page 10)
