What should I do before calling for service?

Check that the gas shut-off valve is in the ON position, the burner caps are properly positioned and ports are not clogged, the igniters are clean and dry, there is no draft in the room, and that there is proper electrical power with correct polarity and the circuit breaker is not tripped.
