The cooktop must be turned off first, then touch and hold the Clean Lock/Child Lock key until a beep sounds and the D indicator lights up. The cooktop is now locked and cannot be switched on. To deactivate, touch the Clean Lock/Child Lock key again until a beep sounds and the D indicator turns off. (Page 17)
