How do I clean and maintain the smoker after use?

Clean the cooking grills, water pan, and charcoal pan with hot soapy water and dry them thoroughly. Lightly coat the grills with vegetable oil to prevent rusting, and apply oil to the interior surfaces of the dome lid, smoker body, and cooking grills after cleaning — but not the charcoal pan. If rust appears on the exterior, use steel wool or fine grit emery cloth to buff the area and touch up with high-temperature resistant paint. (Page 2)
