How do I adjust the thread tension on the XG4099-001?

Adjust the thread tension using the upper tension-control dial on the machine. If loops appear on the surface of the fabric, the upper tension is too tight — reduce it by turning the dial to a lower number. If loops appear on the back of the fabric, the upper tension is too loose — increase it by turning the dial to a higher number. It is recommended to do a test sample on scrap fabric before starting your project.
