How do I properly prepare my furnace for winter months?
Use propylene glycol as antifreeze to prevent condensate from freezing in the cold. Follow steps to shut off power, pour 1 quart of antifreeze through the upper inducer housing, reconnect components, and allow your dealer to remove it before restarting the furnace (Page 9).
