What is the proper extension cord wire gauge for safe operation of this saw?
Use a wire gauge size (A.W.G.) of at least 14 for an extension cord 25 feet or less in length. For cords between 26-100 feet, use wire gauge 12. If in doubt, use the next heavier gauge. The smaller the gauge number, the heavier the cord. Only use 3-wire extension cords with 3-prong grounding plugs. (Page 5 and 8)
