What should I do before starting the engine on my T100 Series Lawn Tractor?

Before starting the engine, insert the ignition key, place the PTO lever in the disengaged (PTO OFF) position, engage the parking brake, and activate the choke control. Then turn the key clockwise to the START position and release it once the engine fires. After the engine starts, deactivate the choke and place the throttle control lever in the FAST position.
