How do I clean the filter cage on my Dyson Airwrap?

Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool, then slide the filter cleaning brush over the cable onto the filter cage and rotate to clean it thoroughly. Next, pull the filter cage downwards and off the cable, then wash it under a warm running tap and leave it to dry naturally. Do not use water or chemicals to clean the filter mesh itself. (Pages 7–8)
