How do I safely remove and clean the filter cage?

First, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down before cleaning the filter. Hold the handle and pull the filter cage downwards onto the cable, then gently pull it open and slide it off the cable. Wash the filter cage under a warm, running tap, shake off excess water, and leave it to dry naturally. (Pages 7–8)
