Can the Edison EP 10000 handle MM or MC cartridges when using the transformer?
Using the transformer changes all resistive loads in a way that makes connecting MM cartridges impossible; however, it provides true balanced input for better noise resistance. Without the transformer activated, both types of cartridges (MM and MC) can be used as configured. (Page 5)
