What is the warranty coverage for the EverStart Maxx Battery Charger?

The manufacturer warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of retail purchase. The warranty does not cover accessories, bulbs, fuses, batteries, normal wear and tear, accidents, shipping damage, unauthorized repair, misuse, or failure to follow care and maintenance instructions. You can return the product to the manufacturer for repair or replacement, or to the retailer where purchased for exchange within their return policy timeframe.

Press the "Alternator Check" button on the charger to assess the health of your vehicle's alternator. The LCD screen will display the results of the alternator check.

What is the EverStart Maxx Battery Charger designed to charge?

The EverStart Maxx Battery Charger is designed exclusively for charging and boosting 12 volt batteries only. It is not intended to supply power to a low-voltage electrical system other than in a starter-motor application, and should never be used for charging dry-cell batteries commonly used with home appliances, as these may burst and cause injury or property damage.

How do I set up and connect the EverStart Maxx Battery Charger?

To set up the battery charger, follow steps 1 through 2 in the Charging the Battery section of the manual. When disconnecting the charger after use, disconnect the AC cord first, then remove the clamp from the vehicle chassis, and finally remove the clamp from the battery terminal in that specific order.

How do I stop the charging process?

To stop the charging process at any time, press and hold the charge/voltage button for three seconds to return the unit to Standby Mode. You can also disconnect the charger by first disconnecting the AC cord, then removing the clamp from the vehicle chassis, and finally removing the clamp from the battery terminal.

What does the digital display show on the EverStart Maxx?

The digital display shows the current voltage of the connected battery for 5 seconds, with the gauge indicator lighting solid. The unit will automatically return to standby mode after 5 seconds of displaying the voltage information.
