How do I clean yellow or brown tea and coffee stains from the dishwasher tub?

Tea or coffee stains on the tub can be removed by hand using a solution of 1/2 cup bleach and 3 cups warm water. If there is an overall yellow or brown film caused by iron deposits in the water supply, a special filter in the water supply line is the only way to correct the problem — contact a water softener company. Always wait at least 20 minutes after a cycle before cleaning the interior to allow the heating element to cool down. (Page 23)
