How do I load the silverware basket properly?

Put flatware in the removable basket with fork and knife handles up to protect your hands, and place spoons with handles down. Mix knives, forks and spoons so they don't nest together and distribute them evenly. Small plastic items such as measuring spoons and lids should go in the bottom of the basket with silverware on top, and don't let any item extend through the bottom. (Page 15)
