How much detergent should I use?
The amount of detergent depends on your water hardness. With soft water (0-3 grains hardness), use 1 tablespoon in the main cup for POTSCRUBBER/NORMAL WASH cycles. With hard water (7-12 grains), fill the main cup completely. Your water department or county extension agent can tell you how hard your water is by the number of 'grains' of hardness.
