What type of detergent should I use in my GE dishwasher?
Use only detergent specifically made for use in dishwashers. Cascade®, Cascade® Complete and Electrasol® Automatic Dishwashing Detergents have been approved for use in all GE dishwashers. Never use hand dish detergent, as it will cause the dishwasher to fill with suds that will spill out of the vents and cover your kitchen floor. (Page 7)
