What should I do if ice cubes have a bad odor or taste?

Old cubes need to be discarded. The ice storage bin should be emptied and washed. Unsealed packages in the refrigerator and/or freezer compartments may transmit odors to ice cubes, so check that foods are properly covered. The interior of the refrigerator may need cleaning using a baking soda solution. If the incoming water has poor taste, consider installing a water filter accessory (model WR97X0214). (Page 16)
