What are the different wash cycle options and when should I use them?

Regular Cottons is for heavy to lightly soiled cottons and household linens. Perma Press is for easy care and wrinkle-resistant items. Knits is specially designed for normally soiled knits. Delicates is for lingerie and delicate fabrics with light to normal soil. Prewash is for heavily soiled clothes (on some models). Soak is for heavily soiled clothes that need soaking before washing.
