How do I prevent lint from appearing on my clothes?

Lint or residue on clothes can be prevented by properly sorting clothes to separate lint producers from lint collectors, dissolving detergent before loading clothes, using warmer water temperature, and not overloading the washer. If clothes are air or line dried instead of machine dried, they may retain more lint. (Page 12)
