How do I use the Auto Code Search method to program my remote?

Turn on your device manually, press and hold SETUP until the red indicator stays on, then release. Press your desired device button. Point the remote at the device and press POWER (for TV) or PLAY (for DVD/VCR) to start the search. Place your finger on #1 and press it when the device shuts off or begins playing. You have approximately 2 seconds to lock in the code.
