How do I know if the car seat is installed correctly?
The car seat should not move more than 1 inch (2.5 cm) at the belt path or harness straps when tested by sliding it side-to-side and front-to-back. You must also verify the level indicator shows the car seat is level and check that the level indicator shows no more than 1 inch of movement. (Page 7)
