How do I properly install the Graco All One Car Seat base using LATCH?
Remove LATCH from storage and extend to maximum length. Place base in vehicle seat, route LATCH through the belt path, hook connectors firmly to vehicle lower anchors, slide base back until it contacts seat back, then tighten by pushing down on center of base and pulling the adjustment belt free end. Test for secure installation by checking that base does not move more than 1 inch in any direction.
What is the difference between rear-facing and forward-facing installation?
Rear-facing mode is for children 4-40 lbs (1.8-18 kg) and uses the bottom 3 harness height positions with harness straps below shoulders. Forward-facing mode is for children 20-65 lbs (9-30 kg) and uses the top 4 harness height positions with straps at or above shoulders. The tether should only be used in forward-facing mode.
How do I convert the All One Car Seat to booster mode?
To use in booster mode without the base, the harness must be stored. Remove the base from the vehicle, disconnect the crotch strap, rotate the bottom of the head support pad up and attach with hook and loop tape, move harness straps behind seat cover, and insert the buckle and crotch straps into the harness storage compartment. The child must be 30-100 lbs (14-45 kg) with proper vehicle belt positioning.
What safety checks should I perform after securing my child in the car seat?
Make sure the top of the child's head is at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) below the top of the head support. Check that harness straps are not twisted. Verify the harness is snug by confirming you cannot pinch any slack in the straps—they should lie in a relatively straight line without sagging. The chest clip must be positioned at armpit level.
How do I adjust the harness straps and head support on the All One Car Seat?
Have your child lean forward slightly before adjusting. Squeeze the fed head adjustment handle on top of seat and pull head support up until it snaps into one of the 6 height positions (use bottom 3 positions for rear-facing, top 4 positions for forward-facing). To lower, squeeze the handle and push down. Check that it is securely snapped by pulling up on the head support.

Belt is tightened by pulling hard on the shoulder portion of the vehicle belt while pushing down hard on the child restraint. 7.5 With or Without Built-in Harness r Lap Belts with Automatic Locking Retractor (ALR) - The automatic locking retractor will not permit the lap belt to lengthen once it is buckled. Tighten the belt by feeding the belt back into the retractor while pushing down hard on the child restraint. r Combination Lap/Shoulder Belt with Sliding Latch Plate - This belt has a latch plate that slides freely along the belt.
