How do I know if the load leg is installed correctly?

When the load leg indicator shows green, the load leg is installed correctly and in full contact with the vehicle floor pan. When the load leg indicator shows red, the load leg is in the wrong position and must be readjusted. Squeeze the load leg releasing button to adjust the load leg length as needed. (Page 9)
