Why doesn't the seat swing very high?

The seat may not swing high enough due to a control setting that is too low, weak batteries, or a blanket hanging down causing increased wind resistance. The swing also performs better on hard floors than on soft carpet, and a baby who is too heavy or too active may also reduce swing height.
