How do I know if the car seat is properly installed and secure?

The car seat should not move more than 1 inch (2.5 cm) at the belt path after installation. Ensure the vehicle seat belt system holds the car seat securely. The vehicle MUST be on level ground, and the ball in the level indicator MUST be completely in the blue area for proper installation.
