Why is my child's harness too loose and how do I fix it?

Re-check the harness adjustment to ensure it is snug against your child's body. The chest clip should be positioned at armpit level, and you should not be able to pinch any excess webbing at the child's shoulder. Pull the harness adjustment strap tighter until the proper fit is achieved.
