Why are my landscape lights turning on during the daytime?

This is likely because the photocell is mounted in a dark area, which causes the lights to turn on unnecessarily. Relocating the photocell to a brighter location will cause the transformer to turn on only when it has become darker outside. Avoid pointing the sensor at nighttime light sources such as windows, porch lights, and street lights. (Page 10)
