Mount the e7w thermostat about 1.5 meters (5 feet) above the floor in a location with good air circulation and average room temperature. Avoid mounting near drafts, dead spots behind doors, hot or cold air ducts, radiant heat from sun or appliances, concealed pipes or chimneys, unheated/un-cooled areas, or near other RF sources that could cause interference. If the thermostat is equipped with a PIR sensor, consider its 120-degree view angle and 10-meter line-of-sight range when selecting the mounting position.
