My heat pump's auxiliary heat is running during cooling — what's wrong?
For heat pump systems, verify that there is no wire attached to the W terminal on the UWP. The W terminal should not be used for heat pump applications. Refer to the heat pump wiring diagrams for correct terminal connections. (Page 10)
