What is covered under the Hoover guarantee and for how long?

Hoover guarantees all parts of the product for 5 years from the date of purchase, during which time defective parts will be replaced or repaired free of charge, except for parts subject to fair wear and tear such as belts. The call out fee and labour costs are chargeable after the first 12 months. To qualify, you must provide proof of date of purchase and the appliance must have been installed and used in accordance with the manual instructions; consequential losses and accidental damage are not covered.
