How do I remove and install the optical drive in my HP 15 Notebook PC?
To remove the optical drive, turn off the computer, unplug power, disconnect external devices, remove battery, service door, WLAN module, and memory module. Then use a screwdriver to open the display, press paperclip on release tab, lift tray out and extract the drive (ref page 33).
