You will need the SMTP server name, SMTP port number, and authentication information from your email or Internet service provider before configuring this feature. On Windows, launch the Scan to E-mail Wizard from Start > Programs > HP > printer name, and follow the on-screen instructions; if using Gmail, check the Always use secure connection (SSL/TLS) box.
