What precautions should I take when handling ink cartridges?
Ink cartridges are ESD-sensitive devices, so you must observe electrostatic discharge precautions when handling them. Specifically, avoid touching the pins, leads, or circuitry on the cartridges. The same precautions apply when handling printheads. (Page 10)
