What safety precautions should I follow when using the HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2300?

Do not install or use the printer near water or when you are wet, and always place the printer on a stable surface in a safe location where no one can step on or trip over the power cord. You should also unplug the printer from the wall outlet before cleaning it, and use only the power cord and power adapter provided by HP. (Page 7)
