What should I do if the Windows printer software installation fails?
Remove the CD from the drive and disconnect the USB cable, then restart the computer. Temporarily disable any software firewall and close any anti-virus software, insert the printer software CD, and follow the onscreen instructions to install — do not connect the USB cable until prompted. After installation finishes, restart the computer.
