How do I use Wi-Fi Direct to print without a router on the HP Envy 6000e?

Make sure Wi-Fi Direct is turned on by pressing and holding the Information button until all buttons light up, then pressing the Information, Cancel, and Resume buttons at the same time. From your mobile device or computer, connect to the Wi-Fi Direct network name (e.g., DIRECT-**-HP ENVY 6000e series) and enter the Wi-Fi Direct password when prompted. Note that up to five computers and mobile devices can use the same Wi-Fi Direct connection at one time.
