How do I perform the initial setup on the HP LaserJet Enterprise M406 control panel?
After turning on the printer, an Initial Setup screen will appear where you can set the language, location, date/time format, and other features. You should connect the power cable to a grounded AC outlet and power on the printer before accessing this screen. (Page 3)
