How do I test whether my printer's Ethernet network connection is working?
You can test the connection by pinging the printer's IP address. On Windows, click Start > Run, type 'cmd', press Enter, then type 'ping' followed by a space and the printer's IP address (e.g., 192.168.0.1) and press Enter. If the window displays round-trip times, the network is working; if the ping fails, restart the printer and recheck all connection steps. (Page 3)
