How do I connect the docking station to a power source?

Insert one end of the power cable into the AC adapter and the other end into an electrical outlet, then connect the AC adapter to the power socket on the docking station. The device must be connected to an AC power source for all docking station functions to work properly. Always plug the power cable into a grounded outlet and do not disable the grounded plug on the power cable.
