How do I set unique codes for each remote control if multiple fans are nearby?

Change the position of any one or more of a group of three jumpers in both the transmitter and receiver to assign a different code. Ensure that the settings match exactly between the two devices. Refer to Figures 1 and 2 in the manual for detailed setup instructions. (Page 1)
