Connect the GDS, select the 'DTC' button, press 'DTC Status,' and confirm that the 'DTC Readiness Flag' indicates 'Completed.' Then read the DTC Status parameter — if it shows 'History (Not Present),' the system is performing to specification and you can clear the DTC.
