What safety precautions should I follow when placing and transporting the PartyBox 1000?

Place the speaker vertically on a flat, stable surface with the rubber feet side down, and do not sit on or push the speaker as it may cause malfunction or personal injury. Before transporting, make sure all cords are disconnected and hold the product firmly to avoid injury or property damage. Use the provided power cord only, and do not install the speaker near heat sources such as radiators or stoves. (Pages 9-10 and 12)
