What water temperature should I use for best results?
Water entering the dishwasher should be 120°F to give satisfactory results, with improved performance possible at 140°F. Water temperature should not exceed 160°F. Before starting a cycle, run hot water through the faucet nearest the dishwasher for several minutes to clear cool water from the pipes. If the temperature is below 120°F (49°C), have a qualified person raise the hot water heater thermostat setting.
