How do I replace the oven light bulb?

Before replacing the oven lamp bulb, disconnect the electrical power at the main fuse or circuit breaker panel and let the lamp cover and bulb cool completely. The glass cover is held in place with a bail-shaped wire — push the wire bail back to release the cover, then replace the bulb with a 40-watt home appliance bulb. Replace the cover by placing it into the groove of the lamp receptacle and pulling the wire bail forward to center until it snaps into place. (Page 25)
