How long does it take for the icemaker to start producing ice after installation?

It takes about 12 to 24 hours for a newly installed refrigerator to begin making ice, and you should wait 72 hours for full ice production to occur. The icemaker will produce approximately 120 cubes in a 24-hour period depending on freezer compartment temperature, room temperature, and number of door openings. (Page 21)
