What water temperature is required for the dishwasher to clean effectively?
The entering water must be at least 120°F and not more than 150°F for effective cleaning and to prevent dish damage. You can check the water temperature with a candy or meat thermometer by running hot water into a glass from the nearest faucet until the temperature stops rising. If the temperature is below 120°F, raise the water heater temperature or use the HOT START option. (Page 11)
