How do I enable High Altitude Brewing Mode on the K Cafe?

To enable High Altitude Brewing Mode, power the coffee maker off while it is plugged in, then press and hold the STRONG and 8 oz buttons for 3 seconds — both lights will blink 3 times to confirm the mode has been enabled. When brewing at high altitude (1,500 m/5,000 feet or above), you must also push down slowly on the K-Cup pod while holding the handle up until the bottom of the pod is punctured by the exit needle.
